9 yrs....

9 yrs ago today  I became Mrs. Noah Farley.. Its been a long  9 yrs but  a quick 9 yrs if that  makes any  sense.  We fight, we argue, we love and we compromise. Noe &  Abbey  kinda understood what  today  was and how important  it  was to  mommy  &  daddy.  Wow 10 yrs is like right around the corner... To think everyone was against  us saying  we wouldn't  make it. Look at  us now. Poor in financials but  rich  in love and fun.

 The local movie place gave kids free rentals for their report  cards Noe ended up getting  5 free rentals. So Everyone is on the couch  watching  movies before we send them upstairs to  watch one of the movies they  picked out  and go to  bed.  Mommy  &  Daddy  got  a couple movies too but  we have to  wait till they are asleep to  watch them so we can bring the dvd player downstairs since we only  have 1.

 Hope you  feel special cause your getting  2 post  from me in 1 month :) Tomorrow is Noe's last  day  of kindergarten. He is looking forward to  field day tomorrow. Then its officially  summer time around the Farley  house. there has been talks of the zoo, the Water park,  a picnic with old friends at the Spillway.  Hopefully  we are able to  pull it  all off as the kids are excited about  having a fun summer.  We try to  keep things positive for the kids since we don't  live in the greatest  area.
  I dont  like to  write about  where we live so I will leave it  at this... its ghetto, there is violence and people just  are not  nice. Not  everyone back here is "bad" we do have a select  few who feel  and have the same beliefs as us about  child rearing and we make the best  of what  we got. We are actually the "odd" family  there is only  1 other family  whee  we live that  is 1 mom 1 dad and the kids are ours/theirs. Thats enough about this depressing  place its bad enough I have to  face it  daily.
  Sunday  June 2 will be 9 yrs of marriage for us. We  have had our  ups and downs,  hell even had some curve balls thrown our way, but  we made it  and we did it  together. Like I tell Noah  we may  not  have it together but  together we have it  all.
 I have to  find a new blog reader  since Google Reader  is retiring July 1st. Any  recommendations ha like anyone reads this.  Seriously  I can not  transfer 200+ blogs to  a favs folder that  would be time consuming but if I have to  I will lol.

 Well I am about to  call it  a night  hope we get  some more thunderstorms... Maybe next  time I will introduce you to  Snookie and JWow if your gonna get to  know us you  might  as well get to  know our  furkids also :)

Long Over Due Update

Yeah this bloggin thing is harder then I thought.. My  life is so boring what  cold I write about to  keep any  one interested in this blog.. So heres an update about  us.. We still live in Ghetto central it  seriously has become a live Cops episode.. The kids are doing great  and as of May 31st  I will officially  have  1st  grader and  kindergartner. Sheesh where as the time gone. Abbey will be 5  in August  Noe 7  in October.... I have  a birthday  mid Sept... I have begun some Christmas shopping  on  Amazon.. Nothing  major  just  some DVD's the kids have been asking for. I found Noe some WII games I may  be able to  swing. I do Bing searches and earn Amazon gift  cards. A moms gotta do what a moms gotta do. Its easier to try  and spread it  out then rush around Christmas time to  get Christmas gifts. This yr we told the kids Santa is bringing more DVDS clothes and possibly the DVD players and cd players they  want. Bc they  have way to many  toys.

  I m debting on letting people know that  I actually  have  blog, my  not  post  much but  I have it  lol. Have any suggestions on a good blog reader since Google reader is retiring  on July  1st? I have a large blog roll and would hate to ahve to  transfer page by  page into  a Favs folder....

 Well thats about  it  for now the weather is nice and Noe will be home soon.. So till next  time...

Happy New Year

Its new year with that  comes new beginnings, new seasons, new friendships that  will come and go.. I am welcoming it  all with open arms, an open mind and with all of us in great  health. We had a very  low key  NYE stayed home kids in bed by  10, rang in the New Year watching  MTV.  Reflecting on the year that  had just  passed.  Many  ups &  downs, lost  friendships, medical issues, family  issues, but in the end we found the light at the end of the tunnel.  we made it  thru  it  all and we did depending  solely  on each other and never  letting  anything  break that  family  bond we have.
  We are hopeful that  we can restore past  relationships with family  members. As we all miss the fun we used to  have. We all grow and change over the years we just  have to  find the balance to  make everything  work. I feel we can do this if work is put in by  all parties. See hopeful, but  still guarded. Some friends didn't  get to  make into  the new year  in "my life". New year  New beginnings the toxins had to  be removed.
  The kids are back in school and in the swing  of things already  talking  about  Easter lol. I am so proud of Noe he is such a great  student always on green never any  issues, now if he could just  be as pleasant  at  home with his sister lol. Abbey is he loud bold mouthy  self. Getting into everything  as always keeping  me on my toes lol. Noe &  I are counting  down till opening  night  at the local stock car  track. Yeah I suck......

I have come to the conclusion I totally  suck at  blogging. I really  need to  get  with the program or just  totally  drop the idea all together. 

 So much has happened since my  last  post  over 2 years ago HA! So fast  forward to  present  time. Noe is now 6 and is in kindergarten. Abbey  is now 4 and is in Head Start. We are  now living  in a different  county. Not  exactly thrilled of where we live but  for now its home. We have had ups and downs and been through pure hell...... Guess what  we made it, there was light at the end of the tunnel. We are in a much better place emotionally and mentally, then we were at  my  last  post.


 I am still at  a loss as to  what to  blog  about. Life I suppose would be a good start. We all know this blog wont  be as well known as some of the bogs I follow, I guess my  only  hopes for this blog is to connect  with others, share about  our life and keep it  as low key  as possible. In time I guess I will get into the swing  of things. Maybe its best to  just  here and let the words flow and see where it  goes from there...

Maybe I should......

Maybe I should start getting serious about this blogging!!!

Abbey turned 2 in August. We had a small family party and she had lots of fun. She talks non stop!!! She knows what she wants when she wants it. Abbey has a lot of spunk to her. A love for life that is contagious when your around her, she laughs to get you laughing with her and has a great sense of humor. She adores her bro bro and has begun to stand her own in their sibling rivalry!! I think she rather enjoys her time with just mommy and daddy while Noe is at school. She no longer naps, which is fine by me. I am so proud to call her my daughter!!!!

I turned 30 in September. Noah took me out to the local racetrack. Where I had a blast like always cheering on our friends!! Go Bee's!!!!! Damn its gonna be a long winter!!! Then we went to have some drinks with his sis. Lets just say it was a birthday I will never forget!!!! I don't think there is anything that can top that night!!!! Don't want to see what my 40th will bring!! Noah and I have been doing great. We aren't exactly happy where we are at, but we have accepted that for right now it is whats best for Abbey and Noe. Right now they are the only ones that really matter! We won't be here forever is what we tell ourselves!

Noe turned 4 this month. We did a family party at home and then had dinner at Aunt Jess's for both of their birthdays. It was fun Great Grandma was there, the in laws showed. It was an all around good time! Noe has come a long way over the summer. His speech has improved greatly. He potty trained his self in April. He started school back in September and is doing remarkably well. He is learning how to write his own name. He loves to do his homework, gets bummed when there is no more to do. He is learning a lot and anxious to learn more. Looking forward to what this school year will bring!!! If he has learned this much in just a couple months, I cant wait to see him at the end of the year.

Well that's a bit of a run down over the past few months. I am going to try and blog at least 2 times a week. I don't have any followers nor expect any. There will be no set way it is written and may jump around a bit. But Hey that's just me, welcome into my mind. You may not like somethings you may read but remember this is MY BLOG. I will say what I want and write how I feel when I want. I don't live for others I live for us. I express my opinions and don't expect everyone to agree, but I don't expect to get slammed for my beliefs or told I am wrong b/c I do something a different way. We are all different and have our own mind. The world would be a boring place if everyone thought and felt the same way all the time!! I am me.
